Explore the two most renowned attractions in Bangkok - The Grand Palace with the Chapel of Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha). Spend the day learning about Bangkok's most notable landmarks. Learn about the Buddhist places of worship and the Thai history.

Drive towards the Rattanakosin Island where you will visit the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). The palace once served as the residence of the Royal family and the administrative court from 1782-1925. Inside the same compound is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, revered as the most sacred temple. See the carved statue of the Lord Buddha in a traditional seated pose. Admire the gilded interior that surrounds the statue on all sides. Continue to Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), one of the largest and oldest temples in Bangkok and home to the famous reclining Buddha image of 15 meter high and 46 meter long. Wat Pho is a beautifully decorated Buddhist temple complex with magnificent architecture which contains nearly a hundred stupas, as well as hundreds of typical Chinese statues of different shapes and sizes.

Experience an exhilarating long-tailed boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and canals in Thonburi. See hundreds of wooden houses built on stilts and explore traditional way of life near water canals.

Visit the royal summer residence in Bang Pain. Next go to Ayutthaya - the ancient capital of Thailand (1351 – 1767). See the magnificent ruins and temples from Ayutthaya’s glorious past. Transfer to Kanchanaburi, a town located some 30 km from the Burmese border. See the famous bridge over the River Kwai. Evening check in at a hotel located on the banks of the River Kwai. Overnight.

Morning visit Erawan National Park. There is a very picturesque waterfall composed of 7 levels. Free time for swimming and relaxation at the waterfall. Next enjoy bamboo rafting on River Kwai. Visit an elephant camp. Elephant riding optional (additional payment 30 USD/person). Afternoon see the picturesque Wam Pho bridge – a part of the “death railway” build during the World War II. Return to your hotel.

Proceed to Damnoensaduak to visit the famous floating market. Take a boat ride along canals, see hundreds of local people selling their produce directly from small, wooden boats. Buy local souvenirs, tropical fruit or try some local food. Next visit king Rama IV summer palace in Petchaburi (Khao Wang palace). This palace was built in 1859 on a hilltop offering a panoramic view of Petchaburi.

Transfer to Hua Hin - a coastal town situated some 220 km south-west of Bangkok. Check in at your hotel; overnight.

Morning go to Sam Roi Yod marine park. There is a small fishing village called Bang Pu. Take a boat to visit a quiet beach. Next start a 20-minute climb (430 meters) into Phrayanakorn cave. See a small pavilion built during king’s Rama V reign. Free time for sunbathing on a secluded beach. Afternoon transfer to Chumphon town. Overnight.

Drive from Chumphon to Khao Sok National Park. The national park is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, huge limestone mountains shooting straight up in the air, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, exciting caves, wild animals and much more. One of the most interesting areas is stunningly beautiful Cheow Larn Lake in the heart of the national park with its floating raft houses and luxury tents. Take a boat trip on this picturesque lake surrounded by steep limestone cliffs. Drive to Krabi - one of the most beautiful provinces of Thailand. Check in at your hotel.
