Thap Lan National Park Reopening

05 Feb, 2021

NAKHON RATCHASIMA: Thap Lan National Park will reopen to visitors on Saturday, after being closed for a month under nationwide Covid-19 controls, but camping tents and overnight stays will not be allowed.

Park chief Prawatsart Chanthep issued the order on Thursday.

All attractions in Thap Lan National Park will be reopened on Feb 6.

However, activities inside the park will be limited to day trips. Camping tents, overnight stays and all water activities remain closed.

The park will be open from 8am to 5pm every day. Visitors must abide by Covid-9 control measures and register on entry. Wearing of face masks and body temperature checks are required.

The national park, which encompasses parts of Nakhon Ratchasima and Prachin Buri provinces, was closed on Jan 4 due to the re-emergence of Covid-19.

As the situation has eased, park authorities decided to reopen the park.
