Five-star beachside resort Dusit Thani Hua Hin has just completed the first stage of an extensive renovation process and revealed the new-look of its 204 guest rooms and suites.
Owned and operated by Thailand’s own Dusit International, the hotel revealed the transformation just in time for its 29th anniversary. Aside from its rooms and suites, the ballroom was revamped, as well as the all-day dining restaurant.
The first phase of the renovations began in May this year, while phase two of the process, which includes 92 guest rooms, is slated to complete next year. Pipat Patthananusorn, general manager at Dusit Thani Hua Hin said: “Over the past 29 years, Dusit Thani Hua Hin has proven a popular destination for visiting holidaymakers of all nationalities, as well as being the business or pleasure destination of choice for royalty and government delegations.”
“Our renovations, which maintain the resort’s classic identity while giving it a fresh new look, will ensure we are well-positioned to continue evolving our offerings to reach new markets. It also marks the start of our journey towards developing the resort into an enticing wellness centre where guests will enjoy a holistic approach to well-being. This includes the opportunity to experience healthy cuisine made using the finest organic ingredients sourced from local farmers in line with our ‘Live Well, Eat Well’ concept,” added Patthananusorn.
Thoughtfully designed to reflect the elegant colonial-style architecture found at the nearby palaces of King Rama V and King Rama VI, the property occupies around 114 rai (45 acres) of pristine tropical beachfront land in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, near the seaside towns of Cha-am and Hua Hin.
