Bangkok, 21 February, 2022 – THAI Smile Airways is now offering a new once-daily special sealed-route flight between Bangkok and Phuket to international travellers to Thailand in support of the Phuket Sandbox entry programme.

In operation since 15 February, 2022, the special flight is only available to international passengers transiting or transferring via the Thai capital, and must be used in conjunction with international flights only. Flight WE8750 departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 09.00 Hrs. and arrives at Phuket at 10.25 Hrs.

Meanwhile, THAI Smile Airways has announced that it will commence daily domestic flights on the Chiang Mai-Bangkok and Bangkok-Trang routesstarting from 25 February 2022.

The Chiang Mai-Bangkok route will be served by twice daily flights, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon/early evening.

The morning flight WE1175 will depart Chiang Mai at 08.30 Hrs. and arrive at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport at 09.45 Hrs, with the return Flight WE1176 departing Bangkok at 10.25 Hrs. and arriving in Chiang Mai at 11.35 Hrs.

The late-afternoon/early-evening flight WE1173 will depart Chiang Mai at 16.30 Hrs. and arrive at Bangkok at 17.45 Hrs, while Flight WE1174 will depart Bangkok at 18.25 Hrs and arrive in Chiang Mai at 19.35 Hrs.

The airline will operate a once daily flight on the Bangkok-Trang route. Flight WE255 will depart Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11.00 Hrs. and arrive at Trang at 12.30 Hrs, while Flight WE256 will depart Trang at 13.00 Hrs. and arrive back in Bangkok at 14.30 Hrs.
