SAMPRAN RIVERSIDE

We departed from the office at 10.00 hrs and direct to Sampran Riverside, located Km 32 Pet Kasem Road, Sampran,  Nakorn Pathom, 73110.  We arrived at 11.30 hrs and meet Khun Chorthip Kanoeythong (Director) at Vanda Restaurant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We inspected Vanda Restaurant opening daily 11.30 – 14.30 hrs. The restaurant is near the parking and overlooking the lake inside the garden. It serves an international buffet and vegetarian food. The restaurant has 500 seats.

 

 

 

 

On the way to boat pier for Pathom Organic Farm, we visited Rim Nam Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner for guests staying overnight at Suan Sampran. The restaurant opens daily from 06.00 – 10.00 hrs. and 15.00  - 23.00 hrs.

  

We continued to the pier to take on a boat and cross to Pathom Organic Village. It’s too hot to travel in the afternoon than in the morning. Approximately 5 minutes, we reached the farm.  The Pathom Organic Farm Tour is daily operated in total 2 hours during 10.00 – 12.00 hrs., 14.00 – 16.00 hrs., 16.00 – 18.00 hrs.

 

 

The farm has 12 acres and plants organic herbs, vegetable and fruits such as basils, lemongrass, rose-apples, etc.. There is also a chicken farming which produces eggs of which eggshells are used to plant young plant. Activities at the farms for guests are making fertilizers, planting young plants, planting rice and cooking class. We walked here around 1.30 hours and got a small silver bowl and bag as a souvenir.

  

 

We returned by boat to the hotel side and continued to Souvenir Shop, passing the Age Care center for senior guests. The Souvenir Shop at the hotel is daily opened from 08.00 – 19.00 hrs. It sells products from the farm such as soaps, shampoos, balms, flower teas, uncooked rice, etc.

 

We arrived at Pathom Village Workshop, where guests can plant rice in the mini rice fields, watch short movies in a small theatre (not opened yet) and have workshop activities. When guests buy Pathom Organic Village, they will get 4 coupons to do these activities: herbal massage oil, Thai dessert, clay workshop, and leaves weaving workshop. We tried herbal massage oil with ingredients from the farm.

 

 

 

Before we departed Sampran Riverside, we visited Pathom Café selling tea and coffees. This restaurant is adjacent to the old stage where there were traditional dancing shows.

We quit Sampran Riverside at 16.00 hrs. and continued to Upside Down at Salaya located on the way back to Bangkok. It took half an hour to arrive there. The house has 9 rooms with 15 zones to take photos. We found only Thai clients there. We left the house at 18.00 hrs before arriving at the office at 19.30 hrs.
