145 MORE CHINESE TOURISTS ON SPECIAL TOURIST VISA ARRIVE IN THAILAND

After what authorities are calling an initial successful first batch of tourists from China arriving earlier this month an additional 145 Chinese tourists on Special Tourist Visa’s arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on 27th October 2020.

GOVERNMENT TO DRAW UP LIST OF COVID-19 LOW-RISK COUNTRIES TO CONSIDER EASING RESTRICTIONS

The Public Health Ministry will make a list of low-risk countries for the Covid-19 pandemic, which will be submitted to the Interior Ministry to draw up criteria for further easing restrictions on entry of foreigners into the country.

Government Spokesman Anuchai Burapachaisri said that the list would also be used to consider reduction of the quarantine period from the current mandatory 14 days.

Thai Massaman curry topped “The World’s 50 best foods,” CNN Travel

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to announce that CNN Travel has placed Thai Massaman curry as the No. 1 dish in “The World’s 50 Best Foods list, along with Tom Yum Kung in the eighth place and Som Tam papaya salad, which ranked at 46th.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, said, “This listing is a testament to the already solid reputation of Thai cuisine that is increasingly perceived as a world-class culinary experience. Thailand is certainly a great destination for foodie tourism.
